Working Dog Dentistry in Minnesota

Dr. Brown has worked with police, USDA, and other working dogs since 2021. Working dogs use their teeth in unique ways and can end up with fractured or worn teeth as a result. Oftentimes these teeth can be preserved with treatments such as root canal therapy and crown placement. The most common type of crown (sometimes called a cap), placed on the tooth is a full metal crown. We allow the handlers to be present with their dogs until they are fully under anesthesia and again when they are recovering from their procedure. We do offer billing options for Police Departments.
