Meet Dr. Grace Brown
Dr. Grace Brown is a Board-Certified Veterinary Dentist™ specializing in advanced dentistry and oral surgery for animals. Dr. Brown received her undergraduate degree in 2010 from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in September 2015. She completed her clinical training at the University of Minnesota Veterinary Medical Center.
In 2018 Dr. Brown completed clinical residency training in dentistry and oral maxillofacial surgery with Arizona Veterinary Dental Specialists under the mentorship of Dr. Balke and Dr. Coffman. Dr. Brown completed her didactic residency training in Dentistry with the mentorship of Dr. Kling from the University of Illinois in 2021. After completing rigorous training and certification examinations, Dr. Brown received her specialty board certification in 2024. She knows that every pet deserves quality dental care throughout their life to have a pain-free and comfortable mouth.
Dr. Brown knows that providing comprehensive oral care for companion animals is one of the most beneficial activities that she can perform for her patients. She is excited about the opportunity to offer advances in veterinary medicine to her patients. She also loves educating and sharing her knowledge and skills with her colleagues, clients, and the community to provide exceptional dentistry and oral surgery in Northland. She looks forward to working with her clients with the goal of helping them spend more quality time with the pets that they love.

Minnesota Veterinary Dental Specialists, PLLC is excited to announce an opening for a full-time resident in Two Harbors, Minnesota.
Our full-time residency opportunity includes an exceptional support team plus a structured mentor program that is expected to take 3 years to complete with the support of a mentor that wants you to succeed. Our doctor usually performs same day consultation and treatments. We also offer continuing education to the local veterinary community.
Requirements
- A minimum of two years of general small animal practice with experience in dentistry.
- Cover letter explaining why you want to pursue a residency in veterinary dentistry.
- Current resume including any dentistry-related CE attended.
- Work history with at least three references.
- Must possess a team mentality and a strong desire to learn.
- Ability to accept professional criticism is a must
At Minnesota Veterinary Dental Specialists, we are dedicated to improving & maintaining the dental health of cats and dogs. Our team has extensive experience in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery. We offer preventative services such as veterinary dental cleanings and can also treat broken teeth, oral tumors, and jaw fractures. Our office is located in Two Harbors, MN and we serve patients across Minnesota, Wisconsin and Canada. You will be provided with continued support from our diplomate and trained team to reach your goal of becoming a dental specialist.
